In-house Program

ERU In-House Program (Pre-K to 2nd Grade | U5–U8)

Welcome to the ERU In-House program for Pre-K through 2nd grade. This is where it all starts. The focus at these ages is on basic skills, creativity, confidence with the ball, and learning how to be part of a team. Our curriculum is built to ensure every session is fun, active, and instructional.

The In-House program meets twice a week on the Redding Elementary School (RES) or Redding Community Center (RCC) fields.

  • Weekday session: Led by certified professional coaches, with age-appropriate drills and small-sided games.

  • Saturday session: One hour led by parent coaches and volunteers, with a mix of practice activities and scrimmage play.

Players must arrive with soccer cleats, shin guards, and soccer socks. Without this equipment, they will not be permitted to participate.

Teams are formed based on enrollment and are generally grouped by school grade. Younger groups (Pre-K and Kindergarten) are typically co-ed. When numbers allow, separate girls and boys teams are created for 1st and 2nd grade.

If your child would like to be placed with a specific friend, or if you are willing to volunteer as a Saturday coach, please indicate that during registration.

All participants receive a team T-shirt at the first session of the season.
