Welcome to the ERU In-house program for PreK to 2nd grade (U5-U8). This is where it all starts!
Our program focuses on teaching basic skills, creativity, and team participation. Our goal is to provide every child with a terrific experience in learning and playing the game of soccer. We have worked to build a comprehensive curriculum to ensure that each session is both fun and instructional.
The In-house program has two sessions per week all played on either the RES or RCC fields. The weekday afternoon session is run by certified professional coaches who conduct drills and scrimmages. On Saturday mornings for one-hour parent coaches and volunteers’ practice and conduct scrimmage games.
All participants should come to the first practice with soccer cleats, soccer socks and shin guards. They will not be allowed to play without this equipment.
Teams are based on the number of participants for any given age group and are generally done in accordance to grade. Teams generally include both boys and girls at the younger ages (pre-K and K) and if possible girls and boys teams will be created for 1st and 2nd grade teams.
Please indicate your need or desire to be with a specific friend when registering as well as indicating your willingness to be a volunteer coach on Saturday Mornings.
Participants will be provided a team T-shirt at the first session of the season.
