Travel Pre-Season Camp

Fall 2025: Pre-Season Camp

Preseason Kickoff Camp – August 23–24

Join us for our annual preseason kickoff weekend! Each day includes a 75-minute training session, a short rest, and then a 30-minute small-sided game or exercise. Camp is designed to get players back into rhythm, build team chemistry, and prepare for the fall season.

  • Dates: Saturday & Sunday, August 23–24
  • Time: 3:30–5:30 PM each day
  • Location: Redding Community Center Fields
  • Cost: $50/player

This is a great kick-off before practices start on August 25 and a chance to get back together prior to the Labor Day Tournament. Attendance is not mandatory. Camp groups will be team/age based.

Special Events:
  • Saturday Night: JBHS Boys Soccer Alumni Game at Joel Barlow High School (Kick-off at 7:00 PM)
  • Pizza for all ERU players who attend camp and the game
  • Raffle prizes for all ERU players in attendance
  • Opportunities to be ball boys and girls
  • Play on the field at halftime
  • Sunday Afternoon: Parent meeting & coach introductions immediately following camp session (5:30 PM) — meet the coaches, review the fall season plan, and get your questions answered.

High School Pre-Season Camps

2025 JBHS Boys Pre-Season Training Program (5 Day)

This program is formulated for high school-level players in preparation for the demands of the upcoming fall season. The program emphasis will include individual technical training, small and large team tactics, fitness and small-sided games.

2025 JBHS Girls Pre-Season Training (4 Day)

Dates: August 13–16
Time: 
  • August 13 -- 5:00-7:00 PM
  • August 14, 15, 16 - 9:00-11:00 AM
Location: Joel Barlow High School
Cost: $240 per player
Ages: High School Girls (grades 9–12)

Prepare for the season with our 4-day Girls Preseason Camp, designed to sharpen your skills, build confidence, and get you game-ready. Each day includes: Technical Work, Physical Preparation, & Tactical Concepts.

*Session is NOT mandatory for participation in fall soccer at JBHS. All proceeds benefit 2025 Joel Barlow Girls Soccer.

About Summer Programs:

Participation in summer training is strongly recommended but not mandatory. Taking part does not guarantee a spot on the team or any special privileges.

Summer sessions help:

  • Players and teams prepare ahead of the season

  • Support the program by covering costs for gear, equipment, and coaching
